A Platform Born from the Arts

Stagey began its life behind the scenes of one of the world’s most dynamic theatre festivals: the Hollywood Fringe. Founded in 2010, the Fringe exploded into one of the largest performing arts events on the planet — thanks in part to its strong support of patrons and participants, and the custom technology that powered it.
That technology? It would become the foundation for Stagey.
Originally created to manage the operations of a massive, open-access theatre festival, Stagey has since been retooled and refined to serve a wider community — including theatre companies, venue managers, and performing arts festivals around the world.
Why We’re Here
The performing arts face serious challenges — from competition with alternative media to post-pandemic recovery, rising production costs, and fragmented tools that don’t talk to each other.
We believe the arts deserve better.
Stagey was built because we care deeply about the future of performance. We’re not just a vendor — we’re a partner who understands what it takes to produce live work in the real world. Our team blends decades of hands-on experience with powerful, purpose-built technology to help artists and organisations thrive.
We created Stagey to arm arts makers with the tools they need to navigate a complicated world — and to ensure that live theatre continues to rise as one of the great success stories of this century.
Built With and For the Arts
Stagey’s design is shaped by the lived experience of our founders and the feedback of the artists, producers, and teams who use it. Every feature exists because it solves a real problem we’ve faced ourselves. Every improvement comes from a conversation.
Theatre is a community. Stagey is built that way too.
