At Stagey, we believe in transparency, clarity, and respecting the privacy of every theatre-maker, renter, participant, and ticket-buyer who interacts with our platform. This policy outlines how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data.

  • Account login details (when applicable)
  • Birthdate (for account or access eligibility)

  • Pages visited, actions taken, and usage patterns on our site

Communication Preferences

  • Marketing opt-in/opt-out preferences (managed via ActiveCampaign)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the Stagey platform
  • Facilitate transactions and settlements (via Stripe)
  • Communicate with you about account activity, shows, or services
  • Send relevant marketing content (with consent)
  • Provide customer support (via Zendesk)

We do not collect or process sensitive personal data (e.g., health information, gender identity, or political views).

  • Request deletion of your account and associated data

Stagey currently supports these rights for users in all U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, Nebraska, and New Hampshire.

We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where supported by your browser.


6. Account Access and Deletion

Users can access and update most information directly from their account.

  • Deletion requests can be sent to support@stagey.net.
  • Self-service deletion will be available in 2025, allowing users to fully remove their accounts and associated data directly from their dashboard.

7. Children’s Privacy

Stagey is not designed for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware of unauthorized access by a minor, we will take steps to delete the data.


8. Data Security

We take data security seriously. Stagey uses:

  • Secure servers and encrypted connections
  • Stripe for PCI-compliant payment processing
  • Routine access controls and monitoring

However, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@stagey.net.


9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the law, our services, or best practices.

When we do, we’ll update the “Effective Date” at the top and, where required, notify you directly.
